Congratulations Terricha!!!!!!

Saturday evening, my homegirl Terricha Marie Bradley, became the new reigning queen of Spelman! That's right! She is the 2006-2007 MISS SPELMAN!!!!!!! Her platform is sickle cell anemia, and with her position, she will be able to raise awareness and money for a disease that her brother passed from last year. (Girl, I know Terrance would've been proud of you!) The judges approached Terricha afterwards and told her they really saw her genuine spirit. Anyone that is familiar with the pageants that go on in the AUC, knows that's hard to come by! Terricha is great for the job, and I'm excited for the wonderful things that she is going to accomplish! what were we doin????

I'm having sinus attacks, and those just aren't nice! Ya know what that means, right? Summer in the ATL is not an option. So, (singing) "I'm goin, going, back, back to CALI CALI!"

As the end of the year draws nearer, I realize that I wasted money on enrolling in a particular class, because, well.....we never seemed to have much time for each other! lol But I'll be aight, that G.P.A. is straight!

I've learned this: Your collegiate journey isn't necessarily what you do in the classroom. It's what you do outside of the class that determines your future. Will you study for the test, or go to the LATEX party? Will you get an internship in the field your interested in, or work at McDonald's for the summer? Will you make long-lasting meaningful relationships, or be an anti-social waste of time? Will you be wise by abstaining from sex ,or AT LEAST use protection?.......On the other hand, you can always spend the rest of your life poppin pills and burning incessantly? Hey, it's all priorities here! And I'm about staying focus on my hustle, ok?!?

I am sooooo super-duper-deliciously excited about what I'm embarking on in the next few weeks/months. My life is never going to be the same in a positive way, and that's great! Praise Him high above the clouse! lol
